Cookies, Reindeer Food - Time for Santa

Making cookies for Santa is always so much fun. This year I simplified the process a little. No fancy cutouts or royal icing. Santa didn't seem to mind - he gobbled up all that we left for him. Having a 7 week old made things a little more challenging but we got it all done in time for Santa's visit.

Christmas Eve with Grandma

John, Jax, Jones and I went to visit grandma in Huntsville on Christmas Eve.    We enjoyed a nice lunch at Jason's Deli before going to Grandma's house for presents and playtime.  Jax loves to visit because he finds lots of Daddy's toys from when he was young. Jones did great on his first road trip.  He slept on the way down and on the way home.  It was a nice visit since grandma didn't feel like coming to Franklin for Christmas Day.

A Polar Express Campout

A few nights before Christmas we had a "campout" and watched The Polar Express.  We enjoyed popcorn and marshmallows while we watched the movie.  Jax loved it.  I think I actually fell asleep which is understandable since Jones was only about 7 weeks old and I was sleep deprived.  It was a fun night anyway.
