Snack Time

What a big boy!

Baby's Boo Boo

A week ago we were returning home from an exciting trip to Home Depot when we were greeted by some neighborhood kids playing on the sidewalk next to our driveway. They all love Jax and he loves them so off he went down the sidewalk with them. They took him into their garage to show him all kinds of fun stuff. One of them showed him how to bounce on one of those bouncy balls. Jax was loving all of the attention and fun. John and I were talking to our neighbor and I turned my back to put away a ball. During those few seconds my sweet baby went head first off of the bouncy ball onto a concrete driveway. John and I were so scared. Jax cried for a minute or so and off to play he went. We scooped him up and took him home for close observation. He was not happy to leave but John and I were a little nervous. We kept him up for a least an hour past nap time and I checked on him several times during the night. Can you tell we are first time parents? Jax is fine but "oh! what can happen when you turn your back for just a second".

Gellin'

I love, love, love my new Chef's Mat. I have it at my kitchen sink and it's so comfy. It's easy to clean and looks great with my hardwood floor. Who knew such a little thing could make me so happy!

A "Hoppy" Day

The Dancing Bunny
Yummy Jelly Bellies for Daddy!
A Bunny for CoCo
My Husby and Me
Jax and Savannah
All for me?
Jax loved hunting for eggs but wanted to hold them all instead of putting them in his basket.
A cake from the Flour Shop - my favorite. Thanks, Mom!
Mmmmm....this is good, Mema!
Easter Sunday was a beautiful day! The Easter Bunny hopped by the night before and filled Jax's Easter basket with lots of goodies. My hubby and I got him an adorable dancing bunny that he loves. CoCo got a bunny of her own along with bones and treats. After all of the excitement of the morning we got ready for church and enjoyed a wonderful worship service. The afternoon was filled with lots of fun and food. Jax was thrilled when everyone arrived. Mema, Granddaddy, Uncle Jay, Uncle John, Aunt JuJu and Savannah joined us for a delicious lunch and Jax's first Easter Egg Hunt. What a wonderful day! We are so blessed to have such a loving family. We always have so much fun when we get together.

Celebrating Julie

Jax and Aunt JuJu

Last week Jax and I met my sister-in-law for a belated birthday celebration at Merridee's in Franklin. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and great conversation.

A Future Star on Ice

Jax got his very own hockey stick and puck. Now he's just like Daddy! He loves playing with John's hockey stuff so when I saw this I just had to get it for Jax. He's having a lot of fun playing with it. Who knows - maybe our little boy will be a hockey star one day!

Just Kate

Jax and I had a busy day yesterday. First, we picked up Daddy and went for a delicious lunch at Logan's Roadhouse. Then Jax and I went to the Southern Women's Show to see Kate Gosselin of the TV series Jon and Kate Plus Eight. Needless to say it was very crowded. Jax and I only stayed a few minutes for her question and answer session. It was nap time so sweet baby was getting fussy by the time she arrived. It was fun to see her in person. I wish I could have gotten a picture of her and Jax. He loves to watch their show. I guess he relates to the kids since he is a quarter Korean, also.
